My only experience is that my Pegasus installation works perfectly in Vista. If yours causes Vista to actually shut down, I'd suspect something is wrong with your Vista setup. No application should bring down the OS. Thank you for the suggestions Pegasus doesn't shut down Vista/OS just Pegasus Mail.
